Za’atar Salmon That’s Big On Mediterranean Flavor

You’ve GOT to try za’atar salmon!

There are so many delicious ways to prepare salmon from soy to balsamic.  We’re adding a Mediterranean flavor profile the mix! Your taste buds will rejoice with this za’atar salmon recipe.  This recipe works just as well with white fish such as Halibut.  Add a healthy carb such as couscous or brown rice to round out the dish – if you need suggestions check out these quick recipes from The Kitchn.


  • 1 jar of Zesty Z
  • ½ lb fresh salmon
  • ½ lemon, sliced
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of salt
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.
  2. Drizzle the salmon fillets with olive oil and a teaspoon of salt. Place them the prepared baking sheet, skin side down, and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven and spread two tablespoons Zesty Z on top of each salmon fillet. Return to the oven and bake an additional 5 minutes.
